    Factores que complican la hipertensión arterial en pacientes que acuden al Centro de Salud Carlos Elizalde, Cuenca 2016

    General objective: The objective of this study was to identify the factors that complicate arterial hypertension in patients who come to the Health Center "Carlos Elizalde," Cuenca 2016. Material and methods: A study was performed of type quantitative, descriptive cross-sectional formed by all users who come to the Health Center "Carlos Elizalde" in a period of 3 months (150 users). The Data were collected directly and analyzed with SPSS software version 20. Results: The 72.7% were women, 72% over 60 years, 62% were married, 94.7% were mestizo population. 50% achieved primary education; and 54.7% is devoted to housework. a high percentage identified 30.7% of users with hypertension uncontrolled. The 52.7% do light physical activity, 70.0% reported having a medium salt consumption, 46.7% of users are overweight, 38.7% are obese. 47.3% suffer from excessive stress and 43.7% report that only sometimes meets with treatment. Frequency of food, was found as very frequent consumption (6-7 v / s) vegetables, fruits, cereals and sugar. Conclusions: Nutritional status 46.7% overweight and 38.7% are obese, it indicates that this is the main factor for complications in hypertension and secondly we have to stress, because 47.3% of users have excessive stress and too much stress 29.3%.
