(2016) Durazno Chuchuca, Pamela Fernanda; Álvarez Lloret, Edgar Paúl
Maintenance is an essential area within a production process. Therefore, designing new selection models for maintenance is necessary. The model proposed in this work includes a new dimension, the economicfactor, by at the same time integrating other dimensions based on current models, thus fitting the reality of organizations. The development of the new model started with the analysis of two of the most popular models, FMEA (FAILURE MODE AND EFFECTS ANALYSIS) and RCM (RELIABILITY CENTRED MAINTENANCE), analyzing their variables and prioritizing them. Results of this analysis, a criticality analysisdimension arises. One of the main objectives was the approach to the organizational reality, thus the dimension size of the organization is incorporated. The methodology for each dimension was: for criticality analysis, methodology points, for the dimension size of the organization took the organizational criterion and economic dimension for an explanatory chart was used for further analysis. Each of the three dimensions was assessed with the most appropriate methodology in each case. The result of the analysis gave rise to new maintenance model selection which can be easily adopted in companies.
