Item Análisis de la dinámica de las familias de origen y su incidencia en el comportamiento del procesado por violencia infligida a la pareja en la ciudad de Cuenca a partir de casos identificados en la Unidad de Violencia contra la Mujer y la Familia. Periodo julio - septiembre 2017(2018) Jara Morocho, Jackeline Fernanda; Ordóñez Mogrovejo, Lilian Carolina; Durán Oleas, Jenny CatalinaThe present study Analysis of the dynamics of the families of origin and their incidence on the behavior of the defendant for violence inflicted on their partner in the city of Cuenca from cases identified in the ¨Violence against Women and the Family Unit¨. Period July - September 2017, is oriented to the study of the ways of relating and interacting in the familiar environment called family dynamics, which may be functional or dysfunctional in terms of the way in which its members face their problems. To make the investigation possible, cases of violence inflicted on the couple with which the baseline was made from the recovery of the archive of the Violence against Women and Family Unit from July to September 2017, were identified a representative sample of 48 cases, in which a survey was applied aimed at identifying characteristics of the dynamics of the families of origin and if within it there were signs of violence in their family environment. With the results of the investigation it is established that all the families of origin of the persons prosecuted for exercising violence are dysfunctional and that most of them experienced violence of different types, besides this problem is normalized.Item Apoyo técnico y social a las mujeres de la asociación “Hatún Cóndor” para el mejoramiento de tejidos. Parroquia Susudel-Azuay, 2020-2021(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-09-20) Suquisupa Loja, Mayra Catherine; Durán Oleas, Jenny CatalinaHistorically, women have organized themselves in search of freedom and the empowerment of their role within a society in which men have always been the ones who have achieved labor and economic success, while women depended on the livelihood they could provide. One characteristic of the big cities is that women have the possibility of studying and working in public and private positions, exercising their own professions or starting a business, the situation of women living in rural areas is different. In the parish of Susudel, Canton Oña, province of Azuay, there is an association of weavers called "Hatún Cóndor". This association was created as an initiative so that women from the parish, most of whom work as housewives and also in agriculture, due to their low or non-existent level of schooling, can obtain their own economic income for themselves and their families. Through this research, it was found that these women have not been able to have their work considered as part of the production of handicrafts that strengthen the national economy and there are few similar associations that have achieved this recognition. The main causes are the lack of leadership within the association itself and the lack of support from local, canton and provincial authorities. Thanks to the development of the strengthening agenda, it was possible to corroborate that, through proper promotion and the insertion of the association within the social networks, it is possible to manage technical and material support that the women have stated they needItem Conocimientos, actitudes y prácticas de docentes frente a la reproducción de estereotipos de género en la Unidad Educativa “Herlinda Toral'', septiembre 2022-febrero 2023(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-03-03) Domínguez Toapanta, Angie Geovanna; Durán Oleas, Jenny CatalinaThe research was conducted at the Herlinda Toral Educational Unit in order to identify the knowledge, attitudes and practices of the teaching staff regarding the reproduction of gender stereotypes. Since, it was determined the lack of a gender approach and its mainstreaming in the teaching and learning processes; moreover, as gender stereotypes have been present in education and have gone unnoticed at the time of educating students, naturalizing attitudes guided by social constructs. Therefore, a quantitative methodology supported by a survey of knowledge, attitudes and KAP practices was used to collect data on the reproduction of gender stereotypes, and for this purpose, 75 teachers from the morning and afternoon shifts were interviewed. The results obtained in the research show that teachers do not know what gender is, since they confuse it as the sex of women and men; they also show a different treatment for each sex in the classroom, i.e., a delicate treatment of women, but not rude treatment of men. Additionally, it was reflected that teachers consider the literature they use to teach free of all gender stereotypes, without clearly identifying what they are.Item Consecuencias en el rol materno y en el rol de estudiantes de la carrera de Trabajo Social de la Universidad de Cuenca, causadas por el confinamiento por COVID 19; período marzo-agosto 2020(Universidad de Cuenca, 2022-02-11) Gutiérrez Calle, Andrea Gabriela; Durán Oleas, Jenny CatalinaThe outbreak of coronavirus disease, caused by the severe respiratory syndrome virus type- 2 (SARS-Cov-2), was declared a pandemic in March 2020. To stop the spread of the virus, the Ecuadorian Government declared the state of exception and within this, virtual education throughout the country. The objective of the investigation is to analyze the consequences in the maternal role and in the role of the students of the Career of Social Work of the University of Cuenca, caused by the lockdown of COVID 19 in the period March-August 2020. The approach that was applied was qualitative, with the support of the interview technique with a semi-structured guide that was applied to 25 mother students of the Social Work career. Among the results obtained, the students received the support of their mothers in the care of their children while they studied, organizing their time based on activity schedules. The lockdown, was an opportunity to resume their studies, since they were forced to suspend them to carry out their maternal role before the pandemic, although it was difficult for them at the beginning, their academic performance improved in some cases, while family relationships were strengthened by sharing more time with the family.Item Diagnóstico comunitario: identificando los factores de riesgo y protección en la comunidad de Uzhar de la parroquia San Juan del CID, cantón Gualaceo, año 2022(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-03-09) Arteaga Urvina, Karla Priscila; Uzho Pillco, Evelin Priscila; Durán Oleas, Jenny CatalinaThis investigation permitted us to identify the risk and protection factors of the community of Uzhar belonging to the parish of San Juan del CID of the Gualaceo county, through the community diagnosis from the perspective of Social Work, with the finality of promoting an active involvement of the GAD Parroquial. In this context, the object of study were 55 families of the community, and in turn 84 residents; allowing in this way to have a family and community perspective regarding the reality of the intervention area. For the fulfillment of the proposed objectives, the Community Organization and Development Method was applied, in which the five moments proposed by the authors Roselló and Lillo for the community diagnosis were used. Likewise, techniques such as community diagnosis were applied through a questionnaire and the SWOT technique in community assemblies and home visits. The participation of people in different age and sex groups was motivated, who were the main actors and contributed to the development of the research, thus considering the intergenerational and gender approaches. After the analysis of the results, two risk factors were identified: the construction of a sanitary sewerage system and violence against women, intrafamilial, addictions; and the need for recreational spaces.Item La dinámica familiar en los procesos de reinserción de niños, niñas y adolescentes. Cuenca, 2010-2015(2016) Mendieta Yungasaca, Martha Yamile; Durán Oleas, Jenny Catalina"Family dynamics in the process of reintegration of children and adolescents.Children's Villages SOS. Basin 2010-2015 ", is the name of this research. The overall objective was to determine the family dynamics in the process of reintegration of children and adolescents Children's Villages SOS. A descriptive study which were used in combination quantitative and qualitative methods during the investigative process was performed. Quantitative data were obtained from the application of parallel Questionnaire "How is your family" and "How is your family" applied to adolescents and their families. Qualitative information was reached with family interviews and Genograms. The universe of study were 20 families that were reintegrated 34 children / and adolescents over the past 5 years. The results show that there are difficulties in family dynamics developing in homes, highlighting the problems in structuring hierarchies and boundaries, communication between parents and children regarding the use of resources coping with problems and limited sources support available to the teenager for family living. The time they were children away from the family and their reintegration into adolescence, have influenced the difficulties of family dynamics that were identified. It presents a guide to strengthen family ties of children and adolescents reintegrated where relational processes that help improve family dynamics will be provided.Item Dinámica familiar y su influencia en la inclusión educativa de los y las estudiantes de la Universidad de Cuenca,con discapacidad física y sensorial. Marzo–julio 2015(2016) Pacheco Román, María Elizabeth; Durán Oleas, Jenny CatalinaThe present research work has the purpose of knowing the family dynamics and its influence in the educational inclusion of the students of the University of Cuenca with physical and / or sensorial disability in the period March-July 2015. The methodology used was observational, Prospective , Transversal and analytical with support of qualitative information. To that end, a sample of 28 students with physical disabilities (57.1%) and sensorial (42.9%) were selected, who are registered in the University Welfare Unit, who are mainly in the range of 19-26 16 are female and 12 are male, mainly from middle-class nuclear families. This group of students evaluated their perception regarding educational inclusion at an administrative, teaching, student and infrastructural level;While the students' family was assessed the type of relationship, coping with problems, sources of support to the person with disability, values, satisfaction and the accumulation of tensions. The results were processed in the software SPSS 22, which allowed the establishment of the results of family dynamics and educational inclusion, finding that families that stimulate the participation of their children in cultural, sports and social activities, generate better levels of inclusion As well as warned that the difficult things that the family traverses generate a perception of less educational inclusion. Based on the results found, a proposal was formulated that consists of a plan to strengthen educational inclusion through family involvement. To this end, it has been necessary to train families in terms of support for university students with disabilities, the offer of psycho-social support for families whose children have low perception of university inclusion and, finally, constant monitoring of students Disability in relation to their educational inclusion.Item Discapacidad visual en el entorno familiar, una visión desde el trabajo social(2017) Guncay Déleg, Johanna Patricia; Durán Oleas, Jenny CatalinaThe present work "Visual disability in the family environment, a vision from the Social Work", is based on research related to the problematic in the family environment that affects the visually impaired people knowing strategies and intervention models from the vision of Social work; allows us to know the socio-familial problems that occur in people with different types of visual impairment and their characteristics. As well as identifying the rights that support this group so that there is advice for both the group and their family environment; and based on this information, strategies and intervention models are proposed from a Social Work vision. For this investigation, the deductive method was used, starting from general categories related to visual impairment. Of the interviews applied, which coincide with several authors, they feel that they have the support of the family, however, in some situations they feel discrimination on the part of some member of the house hold, which causes them low self-esteem, confusion and fear. The objective of this research is to determine the effects of the family reintegration process in users of psychoactive substances, graduated from the rehabilitation center "Hogares Kairos, Azogues canton. Period June 2020 - May 2021. From the study, the results identified that within the reinsertion process applied by the technical team of the Center, activities are carried out towards a change in lifestyle, family reintegration and providing coping tools, evidencing the positive effect on users in recovery; also, addiction represents a factor that affects family relationships significantly; they have been restored, mainly through systemic family therapy. It was identified that the support of the family and their participation in the process influenced the user to accept the support of the technicians of the Institution and prevent his relapse in consumption. By exploring these factors, it is evidenced how they interact to configure quality in their welfare state, emphasizing protective elements that strengthen positive practices; and on the contrary, the risks that pose challenges in their socio-family and educational care. The objective of the research is to analyze the protective and risk factors that affect the socio-family and educational care of users of the Institute of Cerebral Palsy of the Azuay-IPCA, in Cuenca, in the year 2023. Within the methodology, a qualitative approach of phenomenological type and a descriptive scope was applied; for the collection of information, the instrument of the interview was applied to 15 legal representatives of the Institute of Cerebral Palsy of Azan, using a guide of semi-structured questions. The instrument was authorized and approved by authorities of the same institution. The Atlas Ti program was used for data processing. The results reveal that the family and the Cerebral Palsy Institute of Azuay play a fundamental role in the care of people with disabilities, with mothers being in charge of care; the results obtained from the interviews show that positive family dynamics, assertive communication, are protective factors in the care of your family member with disabilities; likewise identified the risks that influence care are the difficulties of families, economic, work and experiences of discrimination in society.Item Factores de riesgo y de protección de las personas adultas y personas adultas mayores sin referentes familiares, usuarias del Centro de Atención al Adulto Mayor del Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social, Cuenca, año 2023(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-08-29) Valverde Marín, Jennifer Nayely; Durán Oleas, Jenny CatalinaThe present study called, Risk and protection factors of adults and older adults without family references, users of the Senior Citizen Care Center of the Ecuadorian Social Security Institute, Cuenca, year 2023; had as its main objective to analyze the risk and protection factors of adults and older adults without family references, users of the Senior Citizen Care Center of the Ecuadorian Social Security Institute Cuenca, in the year 2023. The methodology applied in the research has a quantitative approach, with a descriptive design; The technique used was the survey and as an instrument a questionnaire of questions addressed to 5 adults and 18 older adults who go to the Senior Citizen Care Center IESS CAAM. The main results determined that the socioeconomic and employment situation of both adults and older adults, in both cases, the income is not sufficient to cover all their needs. In addition, both groups agree on protective factors such as: owning a home, interest in strengthening their health, and carrying out activities to improve their emotional state. Regarding risk factors, the majority of the sample studied agrees on aspects such as architectural barriers to mobility; the lack of family support at the economic level, and essentially emotional, which is of utmost importance to reduce states of loneliness and strengthen their emotional state as a consequence of not having family references. It is concluded that there is a need to design programs focused on inclusion, emotional and social support, determining factors that the people surveyed stated require forging and strengthening.Item Factores de riesgo y protección familiares en niños, niñas y adolescentes, usuarios de los proyectos de erradicación del trabajo infantil, de la Asociación RAFALEX, 2022(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-03-02) Loaiza Aguirre, Andrea Fernanda; Siavichay Siavichay, Jaime Andres; Durán Oleas, Jenny CatalinaThis investigation is motivated by the need to know the reality of the families of children and adolescents who are in child labor, starting from the perception of the family itself, whose objective was to determine the family risk and protection factors of children and adolescents, users of the projects for the Eradication of Child Labor in the city of Cuenca and the rural parish of Santa Ana, RAFALEX Association, 2022. In the applied methodology, a mixed approach was used; for the collection of quantitative information, the survey technique was used, through a questionnaire called "Risk factors and family protection", which was applied to the representatives of children and adolescents; on the other hand, to collect qualitative information, the structured question guide "Perception of the family, social and institutional environment" was used. For this, the study population was made up of 112 representatives of 132 children and adolescents, users of the mentioned Projects. The main results obtained related to family risk factors are the economic problems detected in the two projects, in ETI Cuenca, with 45.8% and in ETI Santa Ana, with 56.7%; domestic violence was the second predominant factor in the ETI Cuenca project with 38.9%, while in the ETI Santa Ana project poor communication is identified with 26.7%. Regarding protection factors, it was identified that 36.67% of children and adolescents from the ETI Santa Ana project are in families that do not have all the protection factors such as acceptance of problems and search for solutions, positive family dynamics, the resilience of parents or representatives; meanwhile, in the ETI Cuenca project, the same protection factors are absent in 11.11% of its users, including positive parenting. Ecuador has underwrite and sacrificed several international instruments in terms of asylum, assuming the commitment to guarantee an integral protection. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility, the 98% ofpeople that has requested asylum in Ecuador come from Colombia. The 2008 Ecuador constitution points out that among the priority attentiøn groups ore the refugees, they must enjoy with the sante duties and rights an Ecuadorian citizen has. From this perspective, it is proposed as the objective of the present investigation to analyze the socio-cultural factors that affect the sexuality of the adult population greater beneficiary of the "My golden years" project of the Paradial GAD of Sayausí. The methodology was based on a qualitative investigation with a phenomenological type approach and a descriptive scope; For the uprising of the information, the techniques were started, the interview at 20 older adults (10 men and 10 women) through a semi-structured question guide that was applied through the home visit; and the history of life, collecting information through a question guide made to a greater adult couple (husbands). The instruments were socialized and authorized by the local authority. For the data processing, the Atlas Ti program was used. As relevant results of the investigation, it is determined that the needs of love / belonging and esteem are directly related to the development and quality of life of the older adult; The authoritarian breeding style influences the perception of older adults on how to live their sexuality; Sociocultural constructs reinforce the myths and beliefs that the older person is a unusual being, which causes the conduct, individual, family and social devaluation.Item Funcionalidad familiar y su influencia en la capacidad de resiliencia del adulto mayor jubilado, que asiste al Centro de Atención al Adulto Mayor del IESS Cuenca, 2020-2021(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-04-23) Amaya Macao, Nathaly Michelle; Torres Calle, Ruth Marisol; Durán Oleas, Jenny CatalinaThis2 research aimed to determine the family functionality and resilience of retired older adults attending the IESS Senior Care Center in Cuenca, 2020-2021. The study universe was 240 older adults, 69 men and 171 women, with ages fluctuating between 65 and 94 years of age. The design of the research is quantitative, with a deductive hypothetical method and non-probabilistic sampling with an opinatic method was used. The instruments used to meet the main objective were the Family APGAR originally proposed by Smilkstein in 1978, showing how family members perceive the level of family functioning in a general way; and the Resilience Scale developed by Gail M. Wagnild and Heather M. Young in 1993, which allows to measure the level of resilience that the person has. The results showed that the eldest adult population attending the Greater Adult Care Center has high percentages of good family function (85.4%) and in terms of resilience levels the high predominates (85.4%). The focus of the investigation is quantitative with the use of the inductive method, to obtain universal conclusions, with the direct observation to the pregnancy adolescents and their causes, doing a transversal study at seven EducationalUnitsofCuencacityduringtheacademicperiod2014–2015,thechosensampleforthisinvestigationproject haseightypregnancyadolescents,throughthetheoricmethodsasanalysis,systemicfocus,modeling,theempiricsaspoll, interview, observation, consulting to specialists and between the statistics, percent calculation, descriptive and inferential statistic. As a result of the study it was determined that pregnancy in adolescence didn´t affect in the performance academic, adolescents receive the afective support of their partners, for them it was difficult to deal their pregnancy with the parents; the surveyed adolescents, accept their pregnancy and they’re not embarrassed of their condition. Also information has been collected through surveys and interviews with various professionals in social work in various areas such as: Health Area we have the “Vicente Corral Moscoso,” “UNIREAS,” “Pumapungo Health Center;” Occupational Area: “Prefectura del Azuay” and “China Geuzhoba;” Educational Area: “Benigno Malo High School and Sig Sig High School”; and Social Promotion Area: “Casa Maria Amor” and “Corporacion Mujer a Mujer,” with the purpose of knowing how to act and intervene with users in a state of crisis. Howard Parad was one of the first in performing crisis intervention in social work together with a theoretical framework of psychology; by highlighting this and taking it to the work of the professional practice of social work, it is closely related to social work and it´s always working with a multidisciplinary team of professionals from different areas, but especially with Psychology, as it studies the psychological processes of behavior and personality. It´s from there where the events that cause the crisis states of individuals born. It is also the lack of coverage of basic needs for their development, giving results in the violation of their rights. This paper is the description of basic concepts, definitions, parenting styles, factors, features, types, consequences, intervention from social work and ends with a brief explanation of the Reality of Parental Negligence in children locally, national and global. They were realized you interview different professionals who have intervened in cases of Negligence Parental in children and girls, in order to know his process of intervention and his knowledge before the mentioned problematic. In addition, there was realized the summary and review of different bibliographical sources and of information as: Books, Thesis, electronic Magazines, research reports, articles, news, web pages, all this information has been detailed correctly. The purpose of this research is to inform Parental Neglect in children as a social problem that must be addressed by different agencies and to parents or guardians of children improve their parenting styles and inform on the rights that each of them to avoid infringement of the same.
