    El Liderazgo transformacional como potenciador del desempeño laboral y resultados de líderes sociales en Ecuador

    It is known that transformational leadership generates a pleasant and appropriate work environment, facilitating a space for cooperation, initiatives, teamwork and, above all, better job performance of people, the goal being the fulfillment of common objectives and goals. The objective of this article is to analyze the different leadership styles, which can enhance the work performance of employees within an organization, in addition to measuring the results obtained by them, by following or applying these leadership styles. The primary information collected for this article makes use of information obtained from participants of the 2021 Virtual Edition Leadership Training Program for Transformation as the unit of analysis. The tool used to collect information was the MLQ (Multifactorial) questionnaire, developed to measure the influence of leadership styles, which will allow knowing the leadership style that enhances job performance and its results. In addition, a questionnaire to measure Work Performance was used, in its 3 dimensions (Work Initiative, Teamwork and Cooperation with collaborators), which have been outlined with a Likert scale with a total of 14 items. The results obtained reflect that transformational leadership is put into practice by most of the participants, its explanatory capacity with job performance is high, as with the results. Finally, through interviews, it is evident that this type of leadership can take more time, but the results are permanent and the work performance of the collaborators increases as this style of leadership deepens. In this way, the transformational leadership style is the one indicated to increase the work performance and results of the participants of the 2021 Edition Leadership for Transformation Program.
