    This paper is titled Quality Nursing Care received by patients with diabetes mellitus type II diabetics come to Club Health Center District 8 2015 Sigsig Canton. Whose overall objective is to determine the quality of nursing care received by patients with diabetes mellitus type II diabetics come to Club Health Center District 8 Sigsig Canton 2015. Which proves tangible and legitimizes the importance of Quality Nursing Care Material and Methods The study was conducted quantitative and quality of nursing care was investigated Nurse valued relationship - User, nutrition, hygiene, exercise and specific medication Development modules used for data analysis are 1. Graphics valuation 2. Survey Form The results were obtained with the application of the same form prior informed consent was obtained. The development and data analysis was performed using SPSS 22.0 software using graphics. RESULTS: a population of 66 persons with DMT2 studies, appearing more frequently in females and 53% aged 45-55 years, 59.1% married, the 4.5% single. 68% of people given medication and 22% is controlled with diet and exercise, it showed that 75.8% performed physical activity. Conclusions: This study shows that 66 people report that the quality of nursing care is inadequate.

    Características sociodemográficas y tipos de aborto de las adolescentes que acudieron al Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso durante el periodo 2003-2013

    Background: teenage pregnancy is a public health problem, there are no physical, biological, or physiological preparation to take a physiologically appropriate pregnancy; being one of the main problems of the teenage mother, abortion puts in risk both mother and child. General purpose: Determine sociodemographic characteristics and different types of abortion of teenagers that went to Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital during the 2003 – 2013 periods. Methodology: A descriptive and quantitative study has been made in in all adolescents hat had gone to present their abortion, for what the Stadistic Department registration books had been reviewed, the information were analyzed in the “SPSS” 15 program, where simple tabloids and variable relations have been made, with their respective frequencies and percentages; in the quantitative variables, data as standard deviation were obtained. Results: The universe was was of the 901 cases of adolescents that suffered abortion. In our study, adolescents between the ages of 17-19 correspond to the highest percentage of abortions (78.8%), most from the city of Cuenca (73.5%). As for the Civil State a 38.4% were single, With respect to primary education level corresponds to the highest percentage (63,4%), and the type of abortion most frequent was the incomplete abortion (38.3%). Conclusion: during this period there has not existed a considerable decrease of cases of abortion in adolescents even though sexual education and reproductive has incremented

    Evaluación del protocolo de atención prehospitalaria para emergencias médicas en politraumatismos atendidos en el Cuerpo de Bomberos y Sistema ECU 911, Azogues 2015

    BACKGROUND: According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the multiple injuries cause more than 5 million deaths per year; over 90% of them occur in developing countries. Polytrauma deepen poverty and pose a significant investment for the state; the average cost of care is $ 30 per day, but if the patient requires intensive care will cost from 115 to $ 1,500 daily. GENERAL OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the Protocol Prehospital emergency medical care in multiple injuries attended by the Fire Department and 911 ECU system, Azogues 2015. METHODOLOGY: This research is quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional. For data collection surveys and observation sheet, based on the protocol, instruments were developed and validated for the study were used. The universe was the prehospital care of the Fire Department and Hospital System 911 ECU Homer Castanier, to oppose a survey information for service staff Homero Emergency Hospital Castanier Crespo was developed. Tabulation and data processing was performed using Excel and SPSS, the results were presented in frequency tables. USE OF RESULTS: The results were used to determine the application of the Protocol prehospital care in multiple injuries and help the competent authorities to devise strategies to improve care in this area.     Saberes ancestrales y tradicionales de la parroquia Jadán. 2014

    The present study aimed to gather information and descriptive data in order to make a document containing detailed information on the characterization of traditional medicine practices applied in the care of pregnant women during their pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. The existence of these practices was interpreted as a result of the presence of certain underlying ancestral values in medicine of traditional knowledge, circumscribing for this study and as proof, specifically to the characteristics found in the case of Jatari Huarmi association located on Jadán in Azuay province. The information was collected under a qualitative approach, with a focus aimed towards Participatory Research in order to achieve the research objectives without neglecting the consideration of the value of ancestral medical techniques and traditions. In addition, observation of the researchers of this topic was the primary tool with which we worked in order to collect the necessary data in detail, without intervening directly or indirectly in the object of study. This motivation throughout the process embodiment of the present work was to obtain information to help in the future the doors open to work for inclusive medicine as a fundamental part of the rights of Ecuadorian citizens living as a multicultural and multiethnic territory.
