    Breastfeeding is an unparalleled source of nutrition due to the numerous benefits it offers both mothers and children. According to the "National Health and Nutrition Survey ENSANUT-ECU," conducted by the Ministry of Public Health in conjunction with the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses, it is evident that in Ecuador "there are no good breastfeeding practices." As part of the methodology employed in this project, information was gathered through interviews with young mothers at health centers located in the urban area of the city of Cuenca. These interviews revealed that a considerable number of these women hold misconceptions regarding breastfeeding, which are linked to entrenched myths and beliefs. It is proposed to develop an awareness campaign aimed at disseminating precise information endorsed by health organizations to contribute to the eradication of myths and beliefs that hinder the exclusive and prolonged practice of breastfeeding. This campaign will primarily be conducted on social media, where truthful content will be shared accompanied by photographic material to enhance and provide aesthetic coherence to the proposal
