    Pensamiento crítico en la asignatura de Filosofía en el bachillerato general unificado 2016

    In the framework of the investigation: "Critical thinking in the subject of Philosophy in the General Unified Baccalaureate 2016", a literature review was conducted based on an exploratory investigation on the philosophical thinking of teachers and the curricular contribution on this academic process for the implementation of strategies and methods in students. In this context, the purpose of this investigation was; To analyze the strategies used by philosophy teachers oriented to develop critical thinking according to the curricularupdate 2016 in Ecuador. In this way, and taking as references the didactics of philosophy and critical pedagogy, this work intended to look at the high school and the teacher's knowledge for the application of strategies in the subject of philosophy as a subject that generates critical students. For this purpose, different authors that mention the importance of philosophy as an essential subject in the formation of critical students were analyzed. In this sense, official documents, the curriculum and the book of philosophical thinking of teachers and students were reviewed; this material helped to support philosophical thinking in the General Unified Baccalaureate. On the other hand, the bibliographic review was carried out considering the following criteria: Philosophy teacher training in general; Ecuadorian philosophy teacher training; Arts and Humanities Pedagogy teacher training at the University of Cuenca; the philosophy teacher in high schools; action, interaction and construction of knowledge; strategies applied in the subject of philosophy, methodologies applied in the subject of philosophy, models of methodologies, types of methodology; self-structuring and teacher-student interaction; the philosophy teacher and critical thinking, critical thinking in the BGU curriculum and strategies to develop critical thinking. It was possible to specify in this work the trajectory of the philosophy teacher in the Arts and Humanities Pedagogy career and how the training process has been developed forthe teaching of knowledge and the application of strategies in the BGU students. At the same time, it was found that there are pertinent strategies for the development of critical thinking that teachers can use in their students, creating criticality and integral people in society.
