Organizadores gráficos para fortalecer el aprendizaje de física de primero de bachillerato
(2014) Cuji Calle, Jorge Marcelo; Bravo Guerrero, Fabián Eugenio
The topic Graphic Organizers to Strengthen the Learning of Physics in Sophomore High School Students emerges from the need of applying a new methodology for the teaching-learning process and assessment of Physics in orderto provide students with interactive classes. In chapter 1, the theoretical foundations will be developed, focusing on topics such as the Modern School, Constructivism, Didactics and its methods and strategies that allow the improvement of the teaching-learning process, highlighting the importance of graphic organizers during the learning process. In chapter 2, a statistical research on sophomore high school students in the province of Azuay was carried out. The intention was to demonstrate the lack of use of graphic organizers by Physics teachers in the class. Also, the lack of graphic organizers in the students’ manuals was proven; employing charts and statistical graphics. In chapter 3, forty graphic organizers related to Physics topics are presented. The organizers are divided into blocks, and a sample exercise is added to every organizer. Furthermore, block lesson plans are included to be a guide for the teacher as to how to employ the graphic organizers during the different stages of a class. Finally, the goal of using graphic organizers in Physics is to furnish students with a learning-study strategy and provide teachers with a new methodology for teaching and assessing Physics.
