    Discursos y actitudes sobre violencia de género en las/los estudiantes de la Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Políticas y Sociales de la Universidad de Cuenca.

    This study aims to analyze the discourses and attitudes about gender violence in the students of the Faculty of Jurisprudence and Political and Social Sciences of the University of Cuenca in the year 2023. The research has a case analysis methodology with a mixed sequential approach, at the same time related to a non- experimental and narrative methodological design. For data collection, the techniques used were documentary analysis, non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews and surveys, which were coded and analyzed using Atlas Ti and Microsoft Excel software. All of this, from the perspectives of the respondents, made it possible to fulfill the objectives set for this research. Among the main results presented by this research work is that: students produce and reproduce discourses and attitudes about gender violence, especially psychological and symbolic violence, which are normalized by the patriarchal and sexist system in which they find themselves, and are exercised to a greater extent by a minority of people who identify with the male gender towards the female gender. Likewise, it is revealed that the Faculty for a minority of students surveyed is an unsafe space due to the presence of gender violence.
