    Factores asociados a complicaciones en pacientes COVID-19: revisión sistemática.

    Background COVID-19 infection can affect all people regardless of age, sex or race, but there are groups of people with different risk factors such as cardiovascular, respiratory diseases, diabetes mellitus, among other pre-existing diseases, in addition to laboratory abnormalities and the imaging findings are related to various complications, the same ones that generate a longer hospital stay and risk of morbidity and mortality. Objective To determine the associated factors with complications in COVID-19 patients. Method It is a qualitative, systematic review of observational studies on associated factors with complications in COVID-19 patients, investigated in Pubmed, Scopus, TripDataBase; through the search strategy planned with the PICO system, which were subsequently selected applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, in addition the STROBE declaration was used to obtain information and reduce the number of articles, likewise, the GRADE scale and the CASPe tool were used for the evaluation of the quality of the studies, finally the results were presented through summary matrices. Results A total of 3674 articles were found in the 3 databases, 30 articles were selected by inclusion and exclusion criteria, which underwent further evaluation, and 17 studies were excluded by STROBE declaration criteria and 3 duplicate studies. Finally, 10 observational articles were included in this systematic review. Conclusion Age, male sex, obesity, comorbidities mainly diabetes mellitus and arterial hypertension, laboratory findings and imaging studies were associated with complications in patients with COVID-19 infection.
