    This monograph, is intended to address the characteristics, causes and consequences of the overprotection in children of preschool age, to publicize the negative effects generated by the overprotection in children's development and how it can affect your emotional long-term stability, as well as also some techniques will be presented to modify the atmosphere and reduce the overprotection from parents to their children. In addition, a survey was designed to identify the presence and knowledge of overprotection and its impact on the family system, the same one that was applied to the parents of "Angels" child development center.
