    Eficiencia en los procesos de cuantificación de obra: análisis comparativo entre el uso de la metodología BIM vs métodos tradicionales en proyectos arquitectónicos

    The purpose of this research is to calculate the percentage of time saved and the efficiency generated by using BIM methodologies in material quantity through comparison between traditional methods and BIM tools. To achieve this goal online and physical information will be used, and there will be a selection of architecture firms and construction companies that will provide information required for this research. Furthermore, an exercise will be developed using both methodologies to compare the results obtained on the surveys. The methodology applied will be quantitative, in order to get the percentage of time that can be reduced by using BIM tools at the moment of getting material quantities. Finally, results obtained will be analyzed, and recommendations for implementing BIM in the construction field will be established.
