    Relación entre el pensamiento divergente y desarrollo del pensamiento lógico-matemático en la etapa de las operaciones concretas (6to de básica) de la Unidad Educativa Borja, 2012-2013

    This research was aimed to establish whether there is a correlation between divergent thinking and the development of mathematical logical thinking and determine their influence on the teaching of mathematics at the stage of concrete operations; for which a study sample consisted of four parallel the sixth year of General Basic Education of the Education Unit Fiscomisional "Borja" them for a total of 132 children it was raised. The research, by the intervention of research, methodological work realized observational, prospective, transversal and analytical nature. The main conclusion of this study is that there is no correlation between divergent thinking and the development of mathematical logical thinking at the particular stage of the children of 6th year EGB Education Unit "Borja". In turn, the overall results indicated that students in the research institution with more developed mathematical thinking (8.21 / 10) creative thinking (4.7 / 10). For this reason, a proposal was raised strategies to develop divergent thinking in the learning of mathematics in sixth grade students of Basic Education
