    Estrategias para la protección y conservación del agua de consumo y de riego por parte de las juntas de agua de la subcuenca del río Tabacay

    The objective of this academic article is to know the community strategies used by the communities of Agüilan, Wuindilig and Nudpud, which have been organized through the creation of water boards which allow the protection and conservation of drinking and irrigation water, ensuring access to a quality water resource. The research work was developed based on the hermeneutic phenomenological design, together with the use of data collection techniques such as interviews, focus groups and participant observation; these techniques were applied to leaders and members of the water boards of the communities of Agüilan, Wuindilig and Nudpud. After processing the information, it was possible to learn more about the socio-environmental situation present in each water board, the practices, knowledge and strategies for the protection and conservation used by each board; In addition, it was possible to carry out an analysis of the similarities and contrasts of these strategies.
