Artificial Intelligence (AI) has had a significant impact across various fields, transforming not only the way we work but also the efficiency and precision with which projects are developed. In architecture, AI emerges as a promising tool that, far from replacing the role of architects, can enhance their abilities and improve design and planning processes. As architects integrate AI into their practice, design processes become more collaborative and adaptable, where technology allows for exploration and evaluation of multiple options in less time. Ultimately, AI can enrich architectural creativity, supporting architects in creating spaces that are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with sustainability principles. Through a comparative study between traditionally developed schematic design of an architectural project and one assisted by AI tools, this work aims to develop a guide for AI-assisted architectural schematic design, serving as a practical aid in the initial design processes of a project for architecture professionals.
