    Efectos generados por el confinamiento sobre el nivel de actividad física y hábitos alimenticios en adolescentes (jóvenes entre 14 – 17 años)

    Physical activity is a fundamental axis for the welfare of people, accompanied by proper nutrition, favor the prevention of high-risk diseases, including the psychological aspect as it improves the self-concept of themselves, all this demonstrated by various studies, which show us countless benefits for all, and due to the situation through which the world went through because of the pandemic by COVID-19, we must emphasize the importance of physical activity and maintaining good eating habits in favor of our health, that is why this study aims to identify the effects generated by the confinement and social isolation due to the pandemic COVID-19, on the level of physical activity and eating habits in young school children between 14 and 17 years, through the application of questionnaires such as: Eating Behavior and the International Questionnaire of Physical Activity, questionnaires that consist of sections of a before and during the confinement because of Covid-19, the application of these questionnaires will be to students of the Unified General High School of the Alicia Loza Meneses Fiscomisional Educational Unit in the school year 2020 - 2021. Finally, it was found that there are not so significant statistical changes in the level of low physical activity (31.5%- 33.1%), moderate physical activity (24.6%-25.4%) and high physical activity (43.8%-41.3%), where it is evident that most students are physically active. With regard to eating habits, it was determined that both the consumption and preparation of food improved significantly during the Covid-19 pandemic.
