    Prevalencia de violencia en las relaciones de noviazgo entre adolescentes de 16 a 18 años del Colegio Benigno Malo, Cuenca 2015.

    BACKGROUND: The violence in adolescent couples, it is a matter of study because at this stage of socialization affective can be detected the first beginnings of aggression because of myriad causes. Several studies have established large number of young people who are victims in their relations and the effect of this phenomenon on the health and vulnerability of human rights. UNICEF in 2010, reported that 4 out of every 10 young people of both sexes between the ages of 15 and 24 suffer from violence. GENERAL OBJECTIVE: To establish the prevalence of violence in the dating relationship among adolescents 16 to 18 years of age the College Benigno Malo, Basin by 2015. METHODOLOGY: this study is of type: quantitative, descriptive cross sectional. Universe of study: was taken as reference 220 teens, enrolled in the fifth and sixth year of secondary school of the College Nacional Benigno Malo of the city of Cuenca during the year 2014-2015, corresponding to 100% of the sample. The results were tabulated, analyzed and presented in the program Microsoft Office Word 2013 and Microsoft Office Excel 2013. RESULTS: the results of the surveys and assessment scales, reflect the prevalence of violence in the dating in teen victims and victimizers, characterizing an 12% frequency of aggression. • 62% in minor physical assault as a perpetrator and 63% as a victim. • 24 % of grave physical assault as a perpetrator and 25% as a victim. • 89% of psychological aggression as the perpetrator and 91% as a victim. • 10% of sexual assault as a perpetrator and 12% as a victim. CONCLUSIONS: the conclusions derived from the descriptive study highlighted the presence of aggressive behavior in partner relationships in the young, especially psychological in nature. Additionally, it is appreciated that the relationship between the attack and the perpetrator is very close, pointing to the existence of mutual aggression in the couple.
