Abstract. The research project aims to adapt the technology of concrete made with aggregates from construction waste, reaching at least 210kg/cm2 resistance, producing different dosages according to the replacement of natural aggregate by recycled aggregate. Firstly there is an investigation and analysis of waste from constructions, for which we will use in the production of chips and classification, these procedures will be made with visits to sites. It develops an analysis of recyclable materials for the determination of the aggregate to be used, in this case information is obtained from the classification and selection of construction waste and demolition, later to determine the different ways to grind and get the arid mention. An analysis of different international processes performed on the application of concrete with recycled aggregates, this served to have different criteria for the applicability of the technology and to be able to adapt to our environment. Technology developed raised, referencing what has been done in other countries, providing solutions to our problems, this development was the monitoring of standards to ensure its implementation. The preparation of samples corroborated by laboratory tests in order to achieve. Different dosages is made according to the replacement of natural aggregate by recycled aggregate replacement was made in: 0% - 20% - 40% - 60% - 80% - 100%. To achieve a strength of at least 210kg/cm2.Item Propuesta de optimización de costos para la vivienda en bahareque en el cantón Cañar(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-03-19) Bustamante Romero, Omar Sebastián; Contreras Lojano, Carlos EstebanThe bahareque is a vernacular construction technique that has influenced the development of Cañar, this technique is used since Cañari, Inca, Colonial and Republic times, reaching the present day with less presence. Nowadays the globalization of construction systems has taken place over traditional techniques, leaving vernacular architecture behind with all them techniques and materials. In Cañar City the most used constructive system is reinforced concrete and concrete blocks, taking over the bahareque. The economy is the main factor that determines what constructive system is the best to use, it can be between the bahareque technique or reinforced concrete. For this reason, the budget of a typical house with the use of bahareque technique was analyzed and compared with most used systems nowadays (confined masonry with concrete blocks) designing the same typical house. At the end to build with the traditional bahareque technique is a little more expensive than building with confined masonry. In addition, for the bahareque house some aspects as durability and maintenance cost were determined. Subsequently, architects, builders and users, helped to develop a proposal to optimize the cost of a bahareque house, the proposal decreased a 16,94% of the cost, becoming a sustainable and economically affordable for the people of Cañar.Item Seguimiento constructivo del CICA(2005) Contreras Lojano, Carlos Esteban; Contreras Arias, Manuel
