Within the educational field, Physics is considered one of the most difficult subjects for students to understand, due to the fact that it requires a balance between theory and practice, which has not been present in traditional teaching. The literature review that has been carried out leads to the conclusion that the project-based methodology is a tool that produces significant knowledge and allows students to be critics and authors of their own learning. For this reason, a didactic guide for teaching Linear Kinematics is suggested. It is based both on constructivism, which considers the student as the center of their learning, as well as on Project-Based Learning. In order to create the didactic guide, a deep review of the skills from the Ecuadorian educational curriculum for first of baccalaureate was carried out, selecting and disaggregating those corresponding to the topic to be worked. This guide consists of simple but effective projects for a better understanding of the subject. As a conclusion, it is mentioned that the PBL methodology improves the teaching process of Linear Kinematics because it allows students’ direct interaction with the environment, especially with everyday activities. In the same line, it also encourages students to become more critical and reflective through the acquisition of new skills, as well as the generation of significant knowledge.
