    This thesis entitled "Elaboration of a Manual of Procedures and Functions for quality assurance in the production process of the company ‘K.DORFZAUN S.A.’ " , is aimed to analyze the current processes and functions that are performed in the company at financial and productive levels; and propose improvement ideas towards the growth of K.DORFZAUN S.A. Company. K.DORFZAUN S.A is responsible for the manufacture and merchandising of “panama hats” at national and international levels, paying special attention to the quality of its products and continuous innovation, in order to meet the needs of its customers, which makes this research very relevant for the achieving of the company´s objectives. In the first and second chapter it is displayed the general company information, theoretical concepts that contribute to the development of the thesis. The third chapter analyzes the functions as well as processes and establishes a proposal of improvement. Based on the analysis, surveys and daily observations, on the Annexes is located the Manual of Procedures and Functions. In the last part of the thesis there are conclusions and recommendations to achieve the necessary improvements and changes in the production system of the company.
