Item El ámbito emocional en los estudiantes de séptimo año de educación general básica(2017) Chimbo Naranjo, Lupe Maribel; Chumbi Toledo, Viviana TatianaThe emotional area is a component that has great importance in the personal development, considering that if there are some conflicts in it, it could be affected the normal development of people in the activities they perform on a daily basis. From this concept arose the research work called The emotional environment in the students on their seventh year of basic General Education, which is developed in the city of Cuenca Ecuador, with a purpose of diagnosing the emotional state presented by this group of students. This work is located with an approach of descriptive type. For the collection in the field study “Incomplete sentences by Joseph Sacks” was used. This test was applied to 70 students. The present study had as objective to determine the level of job satisfaction, and establish correlation between this construct and extrinsic factors that can intervene in this job satisfaction. This is a descriptive, correlational, probabilistic, and non-experimental work. There is a population of 1207 professionals and the calculated sample was of 307. Theoretical and empirical methods were implemented, such as analysis, synthesis, historical-logical method, literature review, survey, and for the statistical processing, the Chi-squared test was used to cross qualitative variables. It was concluded that there is a strong correlation between the dependent variable and the variables of salary, positions held, and employment sectors. The relation between satisfaction and academic performance is weak. It is recommended to conduct a study with a more extended sample, with the integrator model of satisfaction, and to develop strategies from the pregraduate training to contribute to keep high levels of satisfaction in professional graduates in psychology.Item Estilos de aprendizaje en estudiantes universitarios(2016) Chico Ortega, Erika Abigail; Chiza Espinoza, Cristian Eduardo; Chumbi Toledo, Viviana TatianaThis study was conducted in order to determine the learning styles in college students. The approach used in this research was cuantitative descriptive. Shown 307 students, 113 men and 194 women belonging to the three careers offered by the faculty of the University of Cuenca, these are Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology and Social Psychology. For data collection questionnaire Honey- Alonso Learning Styles CHAEA was used and could determine the existence of four learning styles in the study population with a prevalence of reflective style determines the presence of a combination of two and three learning styles in much of the population.Item Estudio de las funciones cognitivas en las tres fases del acto mental para el desarrollo del pensamiento en niñas y niños que ingresan a preparatoria(Universidad de Cuenca, 2020-08-25) Guerrero Nieto, Sonia Mirella; Chumbi Toledo, Viviana TatianaThe objective of this study is to know the cognitive functions in the three phases of the mental act present in girls and boys entering high school in order to describe which is the most developed, as well as, within each of them, identify the lower function, in the framework of the theory of Cognitive Structural Modifiability. For this, a study was carried out with a nonexperimental, quantitative cross-sectional and descriptive approach. The study was conducted on 87 girls and boys in a Millenium Education Unit located in the urban area of the CuencaEcuador canton. For this purpose, the Basic Functions test is used, which is an adaptation of the ITPA for Ecuador. The results obtained show that the entry phase has a higher level of development, in it, all cognitive functions are already developed according to expectations for high school students, providing a good level of reception of information. The elaboration phase has a lower level than the entry, some difficulties in the lateral dominance that some theorists suggest can be defined after eight years. In the phase of exit whose level is also lower to the one of entrance, but that is not distinguished significantly from the elaboration, deficiency was found when emitting a pronounced anwer verbally, as well as in the visomotor coordination.Item Estudio histórico del seguimiento a graduados en la carrera de Psicología de la Universidad de Cuenca, Ecuador(2017) Rosales Jaramillo, Guido Leonel; Rodal Genovez, Andrea Yesenia; Chumbi Toledo, Viviana Tatiana; Buñay Andrade, Roman MauricioThe present article involves a historical-descriptive type research which is aimed to make a monitoring to the graduates from Psychology career, starting from the creation of a database containing consolidated results of a study carried out in Cuenca University, Ecuador from 1983 to 2014. It intends to stress the significance of such statistics for Higher Education Institutions, as an assessment and feedback strategy. Methods of documental review, focus groups and descriptive statistics were mainly used.
