    Características clínicas de la aplasia e hipoplasia medular. Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso Cuenca 1980-1997

    This is a retrospective study of medullary aplasia and hypoplasia in the Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital during the period between 1980 and 1997. The data collection was based on the books of hospital discharges from such books the number of cases was obtained history of the disease under study. Then every medical records were reviewed to determine the main clinical INDICATED, the possible causal factor, utilidados laboratory tests for the diagnosis and treatment received at the institution. In the study 94 cases of medullary aplasia and hypoplasia, representing a rate of 5.8 per 10,000 discharges were found. This pathology in our environment has dominated in the second decade of life, peaking at 18. About sex, there more cases in males.
