(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-11-16) Choez Villarreal, Richard Steven; Suárez Moreno, Cecilia María del Carmen
In contemporary times, social networks have modernized interpersonal communication and have unified cultural and social aspects along with technological development, which since the development of industrialized environments in the 20th century, people have required to use and think in abstract terms with more frequently than previous generations, setting a standard for new symbologist and meanings, thus, the reflection of the now new collective thought reveals a recent communicative ramification in digital platforms that combines images with short text to simplify the message, deriving a new need that is: show something interesting to the public on the network to satisfy the growing dependence on dopamine, generated by social acceptance and the linking of the sense of belonging to digital communities in social networks, therefore, they have led the contemporary human being to generate new practices in the new media to cover that intrinsic need for socialization.
