    Análisis y evaluación sismo resistente de viviendas construidas, sin planos estructurales, en el sector Baguanchi-EL Valle, perteneciente al cantón Cuenca. Estudio de caso de una vivienda

    In the city of Cuenca, according to INEC data, the lack of houses with approved designs in the different municipal construction regulators is an index that remains constant, in Azuay we find a highly dangerous seismic zone which generates a seismic risk in any house that does not contemplate a basic seismic resistance design, the NEC, the entity in charge of making standard design norms for the different types of houses in Ecuador, generates articles and design methods which must be carried out in the design of each house to obtain a seismic resistant structural system. The objective of this case study is to analyze and evaluate a house built in the Baguanchi sector of El Valle to seismic factors that may affect its structure and functionality. The work is developed from a methodology of seismic resistant analysis according to the NEC standard in its section Seismic Resistant Design NEC-SE-DS, for which first the survey of the building with its structure and material resistance analysis was performed, With the data obtained, we proceeded to perform the calculations set forth in the NEC in order to obtain the horizontal seismic load values that affect the house in the designated sector. In this work, we chose to use the SAP 2000 version 22 student software in order to obtain the values of the respective drifts for the design of the house
