    The objective of this thesis is to propose the implementation of internal control tools in the cantonal hospital "Moreno Vásquez" to Gualaceo, which help strengthen and improve the existing system, taking as reference the internal control standards established for the Public Sector. Have a good system of internal control is vital for organizations, especially when considering services, social responsibilities and commitments that have a hospital to the community, seeking to optimize the good use of public resources. The main research methodology will be descriptive and applicative; ending with the results of proposals that contribute to the objective of this graduate work.
