    Interiorismo en las viviendas urbanas de la ciudad de Cuenca en el siglo XXI: catálogo de tendencias

    Through a structured interview carried out with twenty professionals in the area of housing construction and design in Cuenca, a synthesis of the styles and trends that have prevailed in the last 18 years in residential living spaces was carried out. Through a global, regional and national historical journey, of the modifications that housing has experienced and the main events that motivated it, the characteristics of interior design in the city are described and analyzed from the preferences of the users and the management of the elements: functionality and aesthetics by interior design professionals based on responding to the comfort needs of contemporary life. The elaboration of a catalog of the main styles in force in the city, as a final product of the research, shows the alternatives selected for habitable spaces and defined, no doubt, for social and economic reasons at the beginning of a new century.
