    Valoración de la postura en los niños de quinto a séptimo año de educación básica de la Escuela Fiscomisional Salesiana Padre Carlos Crespi, y programa de intervención educativa, Cuenca 2010

    This study of Investigation Action named “Valoración de la Postura en los niños de quinto a séptimo año de educación básica de la Escuela Fiscomisional Salesiana “Padre Carlos Crespi” y Programa de Intervención Educativa", was conducted with a displays of 408 students, during the months May 2010 to January 2011, through a postural evaluation that includes the static and dynamic valuation of the posture, which allowed us to detect the most frequent postural alterations in the students getting results as: hyperlordosis (20.14 %), kyphosis (10,86%) and scoliosis (9,28%). With the identification of postural alterations in the students proceeded to plan the kinetic and physiotherapy management for the postural alterations found. Simultaneously four Pre CAPS were applied to value knowledge, attitudes and practices on issues of personal hygiene, healthy eating, physical activity and body mechanics, getting average results: 71% poor knowledge, good knowledge 21 % and 9% excellent knowledge. Educommunications workshops were subsequently developed about the issues mentioned above, at the end of each workshop we applied a Post CAPs to evaluate the knowledge, attitudes and practices acquired in each of these subjects, getting average results: poor knowledge 4%, good knowledge good 11% excellent knowledge 85%. After the investigation the children were participate of it, took on a better lifestyle and practice of bases for correct postural habits, which is why we consider it important to continue this kind of studies focused on detection, prevention and modification of postural alterations.
