    It is part of a project on: Tobacco, poverty and disease in the city of Cuenca, of the University of Cuenca. It is a descriptive epidemiological study of tobacco use and its relationship with the social, economic and cultural conditions in the Cañaribamba parish of the urban area of ​​the city of Cuenca. The random sample was stratified housing prior draw, the 1of took the families of the parish. Data collection was performed using anonymous surveys with open and closed questions were tabulated by EPI INFO and Excel, and then be analyzed according to the variables raised in the engagement objectives.
