Composite resins are widely used dental materials, over time they have been modified in order to achieve favorable clinical results; Within this context, Bulk Fill resins or single-fill resins emerged that apparently reduce the clinical-operative time. Objective: It consists of analyzing both the physical-mechanical properties and the conventional resins versus the Bulk Fill resins, in such a way that it helps the professional to make a decision based on scientific evidence within their clinical practice. Materials and methods: We searched databases such as: Pub Med, Elsevier, Science Direct, Wiley Online Library, Cochrane Library to select a total of 25 relevant publications in English and Spanish since 2014. Results: Agree In the analyzed bibliography there are Bulk Fill resins of two consistencies: fluid and normal consistency; When compared with conventional resins, they present similar or better properties and results, being possible candidates for clinical use. Conclusions: Bulk Fill resins of fluid consistency have low mechanical properties; however, normal consistency Bulk Fill resins show better conventional comparable results; regarding the physical properties with microhybrid resins, Bulk Fill resins do not differ from conventional resins, except for translucency, which is higher in Bulk Fill resins.
