    Diseño e ilustración de un libro infantil sobre las prácticas etnobotánicas desde 1970 al 2000 en la ciudad de Machala

    This project makes use of graphic design, editorial design and children’s illustration to create a book for children from the city of Machala. It is planned that the book teaches children what were the main population ethnobotanical practices, and so communicate they the value of different species of native plants for the daily life of the inhabitants of a city. Also the realization of the book seeks to create an affective bond with the natural landscape of Machala, through anecdotes and experiences of the oldest inhabitants about their plants, which will be narrated and explained to the children through illustrations. The design of the book would be a contribution to the preservation of intangible heritage of the city.
