    Factores que inciden en la integración de la población refugiada colombiana en la ciudad de Cuenca.

    Thousands of people had been fomed to run away their country, because of victimization, threatening, general violence, inner war conflict, this group cannot sta.)' in their native country mainly because their life, freedom, security is in danger or because they do not want to acccpt the protection Of their country, they finally decide to cwss the border searching for asylum. Ecuador has underwrite and sacrificed several international instruments in terms of asylum, assuming the commitment to guarantee an integral protection. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility, the 98% ofpeople that has requested asylum in Ecuador come from Colombia. The 2008 Ecuador constitution points out that among the priority attentiøn groups ore the refugees, they must enjoy with the sante duties and rights an Ecuadorian citizen has. This lead to a study with this population that is aimed at analyzingfrom the legal, economic, social and cultural scope the refugee population and haw this dimensions allow a more active, dynamic and organic integration ofthis group and to creare real indicators to orient the instauration ofattention protocols in local gorernments, public and private institutions, non-governmental organizations in order to create exhaustive solutions to the attention in this social sector: In Otzler to solve the problem. a descriptive investigation was realized, this allowed to identify the situation of the refugees in the city of Cuenca, also using the analytic method in order fo establish the arcas thaf protect thenz andfinally a survey was applied with the purpose of guarantee the validüy the case.
