The adaptation period is important in Initial Education since it helps the infant to integrate into a new environment, for this reason, the participation of the parents is essential since they are the first socializing agents for the child, likewise, the teacher is the one who provides playful activities so that he communicates with his peer group and educational community, and feels comfortable in the face of this change. For this reason, the present work aims to propose didactic strategies based on music to strengthen social skills in the period of adaptation to the level of Initial Education, based on the practices declared by teachers. The innovative project proposal was carried out in the Totoracocha Initial Education Center, with a population of 8 teachers, whose approach is qualitative with a bibliographic and exploratory research scope. For the data collection, the semi-structured interview was produced, and the analysis was carried out with a consistency matrix, with the categories of the adaptation period, social skills, and music. It was determined that this process is complex, individual that requires teacher training, and innovative strategies for the socialization of the child. With this diagnosis, documentary research was developed that allowed establishing theoretical foundations that supported the activities for the development of social skills based on objectives, musical methodologies, recommendations, resources, and evaluation for 4 weeks. Finally, this planning was presented to the interviewed teachers who valued the proposal in response to their professional needs.
