Cuenca - Ecuador, during 2019. The research variables will be recorded and analyzed in a database of the SPSS 22.0 system, using absolute frequency, percentages, and measures of central tendency, chi-square and Fisher's exact. The results will be reflected in tables and graphs. RESULTS: A prevalence of puerperal infections of 10.7% was established in which puerperal mastitis predominates (48.7%), the most frequent sociodemographic history found in the present study, age range 30 to 34 years 33.6%. Prenatal factors: urinary tract infection 34.5, premature rupture of membranes 6.2% and anemia 5.3%.
