This monographic work is the product of an investigation that is located within an educational and social field, which attempts to demonstrate bibliographically, how the familyschool relationship is associated in the construction of gender stereotypes in boys and girls. This research is framed within the qualitative approach, it is descriptive and exploratory, and the contributions of Monje (2011) and Marradi, Archenti and Piovani (2010) were used as a methodology for the analysis of theoretical information. To begin with, the relationship between the family and the school is analyzed, where different authors mention that their relationship lies in the fact that these are the first socializing agents of boys and girls, for this reason all learning that is generated in these contexts directly influences in their lives, which is important for the full academic and personal development of boys and girls. However, both the family and the school work interchangeably in the context that belongs to them. Then the construction of gender stereotypes in boys and girls is studied taking into account the media and the people involved in this process, to establish how these are learned by infants. After the analysis of the two categories, it is shown how the relationship between the family and the school is associated with the construction of gender stereotypes in boys and girls. Finally, it is concluded that the family-school relationship is essential in the process of training boys and girls, since being the first socializing agents they generate a great influence on infants. For this reason, both have the power to deconstruct gender stereotypes, established by society. For this, they talk about the importance of maintaining a good relationship between them and educating from gender equality.
