    Estándares para una evaluación sostenible de los materiales utilizados en el proceso de construcción de la vivienda unifamiliar de la ciudad de Cuenca

    The present research is developed inside the ambit of energy efficiency of the constructive process used in the single- family homes in Cuenca city. It has as a main object to stablish standards of sustainable evaluation of the materials used in the construction process, incorporating own constraints of the local reality. As a starting point certification the most relevant methods for sustainable buildings worldwide are taken and the evaluation criteria related to the MATERIALS category, which are grouped according to their common characteristics, thereby generating a hierarchical structure consisting by categories, requirements and evaluation criteria. Additionally, a review of local, national and international regulations are made and some cases of study are analyzed to contrast the information. Of this all process arises permitting to assess local construction. Finally, an assessment is generated in three construction processes with defined criteria and sets standards for a sustainable evaluation of the housing, which may be applicable for all types of building. With the evaluation criteria and standards defined, a statistical analysis process is performed and it is paired with the method of hierarchical analysis (AHP) in order to get the weighings and the level of incidence of the requirements and evaluation criteria.
