    Propuesta interiorista de un espacio destinado al arteterapia: caso de estudio sala polivalente del Centro de Salud N°2 José María Astudillo en Cuenca, Ecuador

    The present work aspires to generate a new space in our city that provides support to mental health such as Art Therapy in conjunction with interior design, having as the main factor the health center, adding Art Therapy in its schedule as another activity within the multipurpose room of the establishment. To carry out the project, a theoretical and functional investigation of the different elements that compose the Art Therapy, the study of the characteristics and specifications of the same, as well as the investigation about the construction of mobile panels to be applied. This research is present in the first chapter of the work. Then we proceed to the analysis of the space to intervene with the proposed function, which, due to the sanitary emergency caused by covid-19 during the process of the project, had to change the proposed establishment, based on the study of three references that allow identifying possible solutions and generate new ideas, both in the functional spatial distribution of space based on the needs of users, as well as the interior aesthetic design. In this way, an optimal proposal for the design of multifunctional space is made, by developing a project intended not only to carry out the Art Therapy sessions but also for the different functions proposed within the health center’s schedule. The project will have each of the necessary specifications for easy understanding of the project (2D and 3D), as well as the final cost of the work in our medium.
