    Estrés en pacientes de 15 - 60 años del área de Cirugía de la Facultad de Odontología de la Universidad de Cuenca entre mayo de 2013 y enero de 2014

    Stress levels on patients who attend the faculty’s clinic may vary depending on the procedures performed on them. This project measures the variations of the vital signs that represent a quantifiable scale of the stress levels such as systolic and diastolic blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rhythm, oxygenation and a stress level test. This study was conducted on 30 individuals from 15 to 60 years of age, who came for regular attention at the Surgery clinic of the Dentistry Faculty of Universidad de Cuenca. A test was performed on these individuals prior to the surgical procedure and their vital signs were registered before, during and after the procedure. These vital signs were measured by the student in charge with an oxymeter, digital tensiometer, and chronometer. The results were analyzed and presented on a descriptive statistic form.
