    Efectos del divorcio de los padres en las/los adolescentes de la Unidad educativa Santo Domingo de Guzmán. Colegio San Luis Beltrán de la ciudad de Cuenca, período 2011-2012

    The main objective of this research is to know the effects of the divorce of the parents of adolescents at Santo Domingo de Guzman - San Luis Beltran high school in the city of Cuenca, in the academic year 2011-2012. We interviewed 13 families, of whom 6 adolescents are from divorced parents and seven ones whom parents are not divorced. We conducted a descriptive study bimodal. In the qualitative phase categorize the sentences said by them using three indicators: maltreatment, depression and attempts suicide. In the quantitative phase we obtained data about family structure, and the frequency of suicide attempts. The opinions expressed by them the teenage participants in the study deducted that the environment of heartbreak and conflict in which live their parents who are not necessarily divorced legally, incorrect assignment ofrolesandvoluntary or involuntaryabsenceof oneor both parentsleadsto isolation,sadness,maladjustment, depression and evensuicide attempts intheteenager.
