    In the present bibliographic work, the influence of the teaching journal on the development of reflective practice in the classroom is explained, since it is a guiding tool for the teacher to reflect, allowing him to return to the same practice, to observe and analyze the aspects of the same with a critical look and thus correct weaknesses. Therefore, the concepts of teaching journal and reflective teaching practice are developed, as well as the relationship between these two categories. The methodology on which this monographic work is based, is the bibliographic research of diverse sources and of significant actors who speak about these topics. It is concluded that, by writing in the teaching journal and reflect critically on the written, favors the improvement and transformation of teaching-learning processes, as it leads to a process of research and innovation about teaching practice, therefore, is It is important to consider several aspects that are mentioned in this monograph with respect to these topics, because, the purpose of this paper is to demonstrate that the use of the teaching journal makes it possible to reflect critically on the practice carried out in the classroom, and thus modify the task
