(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-09-14) Calle Nieto, Daniel Alejandro; Alvarado Aluma, Reynel Alberto
The following document presents the results of an investigation process and specific methodology application for the realization of an educational editorial product, through the association between the ilus-tration and the children ́s literature to design a picturebook about the ecuadorian southern region ́s birdlife, and that is destined for chil-dren aged five to six from Cuenca, Ecuador, based on children ́s na-rrative and that applies the edutainment as a conceptual category. The Creative problem solving process, by the german designer Bernd Lobach, is the applied methodology to this project, wich after an investigation about the topic and its context, and also an user analysis, gave rise to each methodology phase that allows design a real prototy-pe of the picturebook that meets all the requeriments to be consider as a work within the genre of the picturebooks, and that could be tested by the kids, who are the main public to wich the project was made for.
