    Identificación de los niveles de sexting en adolescentes

    The purpose of this Project was to do an investigation in order to identify the levels of sexting on adolescents, men and women from 14 to 19 years old at the Educative Unit Octavio Cordero Palacios. This project has a quantitative approach, therefore this is a transversal, non-experimental investigation; with a descriptive, explorative scope since the subject of investigation has been barely studied. A sample of 345 students was taken, to whom a survey was applied, this survey was adapted based on the model: Sex and Tech” from “The National Campaign to prevent teen and Unplanned Pregnancy, September 25, 2008 and October 3, 2008; Author: “The National Campaign” performed by various authors. Our study showed a low level of incidence of sexting on adolescents, it also shows that the cellphone is the technological device mostly used by adolescents. It is also important to state that, risk behavior in adolescents who have contact online with unknown people. Moreover, a higher percentage of adolescents who receive suggestive messages was observed. By means of the obtained data, it was found that send, publish, share pictures and/or videos would mostly addressed to a boy/girlfriend as a seductive present in order to obtain the attention of a boy or a girl.
