Uso de tecnología BIM para optimizar la gestión del tiempo según metodología project management institute
(2018) Aragón Gualinga, Nunkui Marcela; Caibinagua Campoverde, Andrea Patricia; Cárdenas Haro, Xavier Ricardo
One of the biggest challenges in the execution of the work, is to achieve that they are fulfilled according to the plan; each project is particularly different, since they face various obstacles and challenges, many of them usually face tight schedules, apparently unrealistic budgets so it is difficult to obtain the expected results. For all this, it is at the planning stage of the project that it should be worked with more thorough- ness and precision, adapting to a methodology and easy to use software support. Today there are several methodologies, tools and easy to access software packages that allow improving project management from its initial phase to its closing phase. The proposal of this research is to implement the use of PMI time management methodology and show the benefits of digital coordination in the early stages of the project using BIM technologies; for this, the time management of the PMI, the Microsoft Project software and the Revit and Navisworks tools were analyzed and applied in a specific project. The tool allowed to resolve interferences between the different areas prior to the execution of the project, and finally a methodology was obtained that allows guiding the project director from the start phase to the planning phase of the project.
