Item Gestión de la demanda de vehículos eléctricos, en función del perfil de voltaje de la red(Universidad de Cuenca, 2022-09-23) Cabrera Cobos, Galo Javier; Astudillo Salinas, Patricio AlcidesGlobal warming and climate change were generated, among other causes, by using vehicles for transportation using fossil fuels, which emit large amounts of toxic greenhouse gases, and are leading to their replacement by electric cars. In Ecuador, under current conditions, the massive implementation of electric vehicles should not jeopardize the quality of electric service of the Energy Distribution Companies. From the analysis of the voltage profile in the distribution network of Empresa Eléctrica Regional Centro Sur, it has been verified that the voltage profile in the secondary networks varied inversely proportional to the network load, without this meaning a breach of product quality since they are variations within the band considered acceptable (±8%). In this context, this proposal proposed a solution that would reduce the impact on supply quality through a model that will manage the EV demand autonomously, processing input signals (secondary voltage profile) and delivering control signals to vary the EV’s power. The proposal contemplated the research, development, and simulation through software (Open DSS) of such a model. It performed a case study by extrapolating the massification of this application on an electrical grid.Item Gestión de proyectos eléctricos integrados con los sistemas de información geográficos(2017) Cuesta Garzón, Lenin Marcelo; Yunga Chapa, Luis David; Ugalde Delgado, Juan Hernando; Avila Campoverde, Ramiro Fernando; Cabrera Cobos, Galo JavierThe present work performs an analysis and evaluation of the management of the electrical projects integrated with the geographic information systems, specifically in the stage of designs through the application of the computational tool Designer by Schneider Electric, the same one has been made by a Project manager and a set of engineering analysis tools. Likewise, it emphasizes on the requirements that allowed establishing the feasibility of its implementation in the “Empresa Eléctrica Regional Centrosur”. The project was based on a study case, which allowed a comparison between the company's current project management methodology and Designer, in order to determine the performance of each one of them. The first chapter indicates the approach to the problem and establishes the general objective and the specific objectives, as well as the justification and hypothesis of the present work. The second chapter is related to the theoretical framework that defines concepts such as project management and technical aspects like a georeferenced information systems as well as their application in the electricity distribution sector. The third chapter indicates the methodologies of project management of the main electricity distribution companies in Ecuador, in particular reference to the “Empresa Eléctrica Regional Centrosur”. Then, the fourth chapter reviews the management of electrical designs and the engineering tools that incorporate Designer. The fifth chapter discusses the implementation of the design of a project that was carried out by the company responsible for the project. In the sixth chapter discusses of how to develop a comparative analysis of the information obtained. Finally, in the seventh chapter the final results are reported, as well as the general and theoretical support to the thesis with the author’s recommendations.Item Proyección de la demanda de la Empresa Eléctrica Regional Centrosur C.
