Item Correlación clínico/ anatomo-patológico del diagnóstico de miomatosis uterina en el departamento de ginecología del Hospital Homero Castanier Crespo, Azogues 2011-2016. Azogues, 2018.(2018) Cabrera Avila, Magaly Elizabeth; Ortiz Dumas, David Alberto; Mejía Chicaiza, Jorge VictorianoBACKGROUND: the uterine myomatosis, the acquaintance also constitutes the most common cause of pelvic solid tumors in women, affecting this pathology between 20 and 40 % of women in reproductive age. They are clinically evident in the 20 to 25 % of the cases. GENERAL OBJECTIVE: determining the correlation between the preoperative clinical diagnostic of uterine myomatosis with the result pathological in served patients in the department of gynecology of the Hospital Homero Castanier Crespo of 2011 to 2016. METHODOLOGY: guy's study observacional, retrospective and correlacional, with case histories of 202 served women in the department of gynecology of the Hospital Homero Castanier Crespo with diagnosis of uterine myomatosis, in the period of 2011 to 2016. We used SPSS version 19,0. For the qualitative categorized variables frequencies and percentages were used. Kappa, in order to evaluate correlation and concordance between both diagnoses used the correlation of Spearman and the index of concordance itself. RESULTS: the age averaged 44.42 ±6.90 years, predominated 36 to 49 years, of back countries and primary education. Family record of uterine myomatosis introduce some more half as much patients. The majority has had from 3 5 children and more of the 90 % he has had at least one, the majority has the symptoms in the last 6 months. The most common symptoms were the uterine abnormal bleeding and the pelvic pain. FINDINGS: 78.1 % of the clinical diagnostics of uterine myomatosis were corroborated by the histopathology; there was 21.9 % of error in the clinical classification
