    The present investigation empowered to diagnose the channels of communication with which The Autonomous Decentralized Government of the San Francisco of Gualleturo parish, of the Canton and Province of Cañar is managed, with the finality of identify the potential of themselves against the opinion of the counterpart. Likewise using these results to select and plan strategic of communication aimed to promoting the tourism of Gualleturo. The given information have empowered the GAD to contribute the development of future projects. The Gualleturo parish lacks studies that describe the communication process applied in its territory, for this reason, it was considered convenient to carry out this investigative work, seeking to resolve this communication need within the competent institution of the place (the GAD); In order to obtain these data, we apply a series of methodological tools subject to the proposed objectives and the contextual reality of the area. The objective of our research is then based on proposing promotional communication strategies focused on the parish institution, adapting to the environment in which it is immersed. The purpose of this study is to provide the necessary guidelines to cover the communicative - tourist field in future ventures in the area.
