    Diseño curricular para la cátedra de piano complementario en los Conservatorios de Música del Ecuador, una propuesta metodológica

    This research aims to organize the chair of the Piano Supplementary to suit the purpose of the musicians, their preferences and skills instrumental variety. We propose a design plan to submit to the Chair of Complementary Piano structurally, ensuring that the student takes ownership of the piano as a tool adapted to their musical goals to achieve the most diverse dimensions. In the first chapter presents the global picture of the chair of Piano Supplementary focusing on curricula and methodologies applied, successful and innovative. The second chapter will discuss the use of the piano as a complementary tool in the area of Ecuador. And in the third chapter will consider the Curriculum Design for Complementary Piano chair. Concluding that the task of innovating in academic curricula to achieve greater effectiveness of teaching and learning process, requires a conscious and laborious work, not only for initial formal approaches, but to lead the daily reality of the institutes, the practical application thereof.
