El espacio público: lineamientos de intervención participativos y de percepción - parque ubicado entre la Av. Abelardo J. Andrade y Euclides
(2019-03-07) Brito Toromoreno, Daniel Fernando; Rodríguez Tenezaca, Cecilia del Carmen
Public space is fundamental for the development of the city and society, however, they have been standardized by generating repetitive designs or in turn because the technicians in charge of projecting them, often do so under concepts or criteria, that they allow to obtain “aesthetic” or “beautiful” results, leaving aside the real needs that the users or people living around them have, causing that many of the times the projects delivered are only pleasing to the eye, without being occupied, and becoming in spaces not necessary, wasted, and that do not meet the needs, real conditions, and that do not solve the problems they present. The present work presents a methodology that can be used for the design of public spaces, working with the community, provides intervention criteria based on their needs, their realities, criteria that seek to enhance positive aspects and resolve negative aspects, generating a design adequate in the public space and its surroundings.
