(Universidad de Cuenca, 2022-10-21) Brito Calle, Juan Diego; Ortiz Vizuete, Fernando Herminio
The degree project "in search of the treasure", consists of the realization of an audiovisual documentary about the origin and history of the town called "El Tesoro", The main purpose of this project is to collect all historical information based on testimonies, anecdotes and stories of the elders who live in the area and of key characters for the first steps of the community. For example: officials of the ex crea, teachers and religious. The document contains a conceptual-theoretical approach to the terminology that is fundamental for understanding the value of historic preservation and the valuation of identities, these terms are also vital to understand the processes of village formation in the Ecuadorian Amazon. On the other hand, through the audiovisual documentary, it seeks to bet on the visual stimulus to awaken social sentimentality and thus strengthen identity. Finally, the project is intended to be a reference so that a consensus can be reached in the town's assembly to establish a civic holiday date for the sector, which has not existed until now.
