    Perfil epidemiológico de los vendedores ambulantes de la Asociación 22 de Marzo. Cuenca 2016

    Peddlers, a large group of the population, excluded from public services, and forced to work in an inadequate physical environment. All these situations added to the extensive working days, insecurity and delinquency of the sector in which they work, poses risks to the physical and mental health which have repercussions turn affects their activities and living conditions. Objective: To determine the epidemiological profile of Peddlers of the 22 the March Association. Cuenca. 2016. Methodology: A descriptive and cross-sectional study was carried out to the total of 80 Peddlers members of the "March 22 Association". Cuenca 2016. Three forms were applied: 1.- "Working conditions", 2.- "Conditions of Life" prepared by the authors and 3.- "Conditions of Health - Illness" of the occupational salubrista Oscar Betancur; These forms were processed in the program SPSS version 23. Results: The 64% are of female gender. Among the 50 years are 40%. Married 41%with primary education 55%, 9% have no access to education. 52,5% work in the street but it´s have many dangers in this environment. Noise 79%, rain 75%, fights 38%, robbery 16%. Then 86,2% work 6 days of the week. 6 and 8 hours in the day. 71% work for poverty and for their family. 51,25% live in a rented house. The rest in one or two rooms, 60% are overweight and obese, 2,5% are underweight and 66% have bone pain and joint pain, and finally 15% have problems with their stomach
