    Estilos de liderazgo en colaboradores de la empresa EcuaPayphone en el periodo septiembre 2024 - febrero 2025

    Leadership has been one of the most studied terms by authors in the 20th century, however, it has undergone a significant transformation nowadays. It is of great relevance for companies and organizations regardless of their size, since it is linked to the resolution of complex internal and external challenges faced by organizations. The general objective of this research is to describe the leadership styles of EcuaPayphone's employees in the period 2024-2025. This study adopted a quantitative approach, a non-experimental cross-sectional design and a descriptive scope. A total of 69 employees of the company participated, who answered a sociodemographic form and the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ)- 5X (Short Form)- Leader Version. The results showed that the most frequent leadership style was transformational (49.3%), followed by transactional (47.8%), without a significant percentage difference, 2.9% presented a mixed style and there were no reports of the laissez faire style (0%). Finally, in terms of position, chiefs obtained a (13.04%) in transformational leadership compared to 5.80% of a transactional style. And in terms of gender, similar statistics (21.74%) were observed in both types of leadership. In conclusion, the company reflects an organizational trend towards active and action-oriented leadership, goal achievement and employee development.
